The election for House District 92 may be over, but the legal battle between Ken Yang and Casey Reed continues.

Eric Shepherd, a first-time candidate, and Dawn Creekmore, a former Democratic legislator turned Republican, also won again. (Creekmore won against Shepherd in the May 3 primary.)

However, Ken Yang, a Saline County political consultant who once ran for a state represenative seat, sued in December to keep Reed off the ballot citing a 2012 case concerning Reed in an alledged abuse of public trust case.
