Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill's Bureau of Investigation arrested a man from Noble in northwest Louisiana on May 1, 2025, for first degree rape of a juvenile and other serious charges.

According to a news release, Tyler Delane Wealthy, 29, was arrested at his home on Solan Camp Road in Noble, an hour south of Shreveport, for violating:

  • RS14:42 FIRST DEGREE RAPE - 1 count
  • RS14:81 INDECENT BEHAVIOR WITH JUVENILES - 4 counts
  • RS14:81.1 PORNOGRAPHY INVOLVING JUVENILES UNDER THE AGE OF THIRTEEN - 3 counts
  • 14:89.3 SEXUAL ABUSE OF ANIMALS - 3 counts

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to the release

"When LBI agents started working on the case, they became concerned that this might have been a hands-on incident," the release stated. "Through joint collaboration with local law enforcement partners, agents were eventually able to get Wealthy in custody at his home.

"During the course of our investigation, agents were able to obtain a confession from the suspect that he had raped a juvenile," the release stated. "This arrest was the result of a joint investigation with General Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office, Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office and the LA Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.

Murrill said, “Huge shoutout to my agents with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office, Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, and all our partners across the State who work day and night to take monsters off the street. If you hurt our kids, Louisiana will find you," said Attorney General Murrill.

Wealthy was booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center in Many, La.

No bond has been set at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
