The Legislative Joint Auditing Committee initially voted on Thursday to defer numerous findings of the most recent Jefferson County audit until May 2025.
But that quickly changed.
A few minutes later, Republican state Senator Kim Hammer of Benton requested that the committee revisit the issues in Jefferson County.
