News of the Weird: The Week That Was
Stormy weather. Holiday weekend. Cell phone disruption. Along with Mike Huckabee, Color of the Week, Mean Donut Lady, and more!
It has been a few odd days here what with strong storms, power outages and spotty internet amd cell service. On any given day, though, we have bad internet because we live in rural Arkansas.
Some of the stuff we noticed this week. This was suggested to us so we decided, yes, we will take this suggestion.
Suzi is still obsessed with the weekly sign in Pine Bluff at Bryan Paints.
Sounds like the title if a Harlequin romance novel. Official description of this paint: “Like a distant memory, this delicate gray-lavender is soft around the edges.”
Actually it is just pretty much gray. We will spare you a picture of a gray paint swatch.
But there actually is a song called “Misty Memories” by Brenda Lee.
We learned a new word this week: Detransitioner.
Suzi stopped at this donut shop this week in Pine Bluff. Don't do it. Spare yourself. The least friendly people on the planet work there. Think Seinfeld Soup Nazi except replace soup with donuts and coffee. Customer service goes a long way.

We keep an eye on Nashville. Arkansas, that is. Ethan Kuntz, known professionally as “Lil’ Skinny,” is from Arkansas and recorded the song “Nashville to Nashville.”
