That's a 45 rpm. A single. That plays on a record player. I still have it in my box of 45s.
For Donald Trump “Y.M.C.A.” is some sort of an anthem. I've been wondering about this for a few weeks now. The song by Village People triggers Trump to do that Trump dance thing. And now with a sword!
According to ABC News, Trump closed “over 110 rallies delivering his signature move as he exited the stage — a double closed fist arm punch with shaking hips.”
If someone had told me at any point in my life that this disco song would resurrect itself in 2025 at an inauguration of well, Trump, an unlikely politician, I would have thought no way. Then again, who thought Fleetwood Mac's “Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow” would forever be connected to Bill Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign.
When I tied those two songs together in the music filing cabinet that is my mind, the choices all started making sense.
