Travis "Joey" Posey Court Documents Filed In Dallas County

Alledged Mad Butcher mass shooter faces four counts of murder and 11 counts of attempted murder

Charges were filed Monday in the Circuit Court of Dallas County against Travis Eugene “Joey” Posey, 45, of New Edinburg (Cleveland County).

Posey is the alledged accused shooter in the Fordyce Mad Butcher mass shooting on June 21. He faces four counts of capital murder and 11 counts of attempted murder.

Court documents from Posey's court appearance on June 25 have also been filed in Dallas County.

An “affidavit of indigency” was also filed on Posey's behalf.

According to VINELink. Posey is still in custody at the Ouachita County Jail.
