Stacks is assistant superintendent, high school principal and athletic director. Marrs is the head football coach.
The lawsuit was filed Oct. 10 on behalf of Stacks and Marrs by Little Rock attorney Kale L. Ludwig.
“Both men are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for the students under their care,” according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit states, “On September 12, 2024, Defendants promoted their campaign of falsehoods against Plaintiffs, publicly making defamatory statements during public comment session of the Arkansas State Board of Education.”
