Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders spoke in Iowa Friday as the keynote speaker at The Family Leader's annual summit.

An Instagram post showed Sanders with Charles M. Schneider in Iowa. According to his Instagram, Schneider is the 64th president of the Iowa Senate and the co-chair of Iowans Supporting Israel.
The Family Leader's Instagram account praised Sanders' career and Christian faith.

Some media hinted at a Sanders 2028 presidential run. Sanders is running for re-election as Arkansas' governor. That election is in November 2026.
If Sanders wins, which is a real possibility, she could still run for president in 2028.
Bill Clinton ran for re-election as governor in 1990 and won. In October 1991, he announced his candidacy for president. He won the presidency in 1992 and subsequently resigned as governor.
Iowa is an early key battleground state on the way to the White House.
The summit on Friday focused on God in the roles of family, life, marriage and sexuality, religious liberty and government and elections.
Past speakers include President Donald Trump, media personality Tucker Carlson and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem when she was governor of South Dakota.
Earlier this week, Sanders was in Washington where she visited with her father, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee who is now the ambassador to Israel, according to posts on Sanders' social media.
While in Washington she also attended a USDA event about a new National Farm Security Action plan.
