The Reckoning obtained a disturbing audio of students in the Sheridan School District rapping about fellow students and teachers.

The Reckoning will not publish this audio or its title.

The lyrics are vulgar, disrespectful to girls and boys, threatening to teachersand students. The rap is more than four minutes long.

Sheridan School District Superintendent Chad Pitts confirmed the existence of the audio.

"The district is aware of this matter, and it is being addressed appropriately," Pitts said in a statement. "Please be assured that the safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. Because this involves student records, we are unable to provide further details."

This is a developing story.
